My work Nansensu is rooted in Ero Guro Nansensu, a decadent artistic genre from Japan’s Shōwa Era that revels in the erotic, the grotesque, and the utterly nonsensical.

 

I’m not here to make a “meaningful” piece of art, but to capture pointless moments that reveal raw emotions I call Taṇhā and Dukkha, that restless craving, that itch you can’t quite scratch.
